Modern direct store delivery (DSD) and route sales solution provider xkzero today announced the general availability of xkzero Mobile Commerce for Acumatica Cloud ERP. Mobile Commerce is an exciting and new technology platform designed to handle the unique demands of wholesale distributors and manufacturers who deliver and sell their products using their own fleet of vehicles.

xkzero co-founder Paul Ziliak said “Mobile Commerce tackles two primary business use cases. One is what the grocery industry calls Direct Store Delivery (DSD). DSD refers to an essential distribution method that includes route and truck load planning, route sales and delivery, merchandising, mobile intelligence, inventory control and route accounting. DSD is essential for companies who distribute B2B for wholesale bakery, wine & spirits, energy drinks and beverages, frozen foods, milk and dairy, coffee and water, as well as wholesale grocery, among others. Tobacco products and oil and petroleum goods also rely heavily on DSD as technology to help them win in a competitive market place”.

Ziliak said the other main purpose for Mobile Commerce is for companies who deliver their own products and require electronic signature capture, automatic invoicing, payment acceptance and pick up of returned merchandise to reduce errors, payment disputes and administrative costs. Common industries include furniture, medical products, building materialism, electrical supplies, and auto parts.

“Mobile Commerce really stands out in several ways”, continued Ziliak. Mobile Commerce provides mobile intelligence that other systems simply cannot match. We’ve built in geo-coding, photo-enablement, document sharing, task management, transaction memos and so much more. Mobile Commerce unifies the entire business from purchasing and production to the warehouse, mobile delivery and sales, human resources and accounting. Mobile Commerce also stands out because of the deep, flexible and powerful integration with Acumatica. Acumatica is the leading cloud ERP provider for the mid-market. “It’s easy to find mobile route sales and delivery systems claiming to work with ‘any’ ERP system. But those integrations tend to be quite shallow and fragile”, continued Ziliak. “That’s not the case with xkzero. Our status as certified Acumatica developers and consultants has allowed us to build the best integration we think you'll find”.

Expected benefits from xkzero include increased revenue, larger orders, faster and more accurate delivery, accelerated cash flow, smarter inventory management, improved customer loyalty, better performing sales and delivery reps, and reduced administrative costs.

Acumatica Vice President of Platform Strategy, Ajoy Krishnamoorthy, stated that “xkzero is an important and valuable addition to the Acumatica ISV community. Now Acumatica partners, in conjunction with xkzero, can further serve these highly mobile and fast-growing industries with Acumatica’s born-in-the-cloud ERP software”.

xkzero will participate as a Gold Sponsor for Acumatica Summit 2018 beginning January 28, 2018 in Nashville, Tennessee.
